South Somerset Astronomical Society is open to anyone interested in Astronomy or Space flight, regardless of age or experience. We hold regular meetings between September and May, have observing sessions and visit places of astronomical interest. The Society has links with astronomical societies throughout the South-West, giving access to their meetings and equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Membership is \u00a315 per year or \u00a325 for a family couple. FREE to anyone under 18 or in full time education. Visitors are welcome and will not be charged, and anyone joining after September will be eligible for a pro rata discount. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We seek to encourage a popular interest in Astronomy throughout South Somerset. Whatever your interest or level of experience, the society has something to offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Formal meetings on the second Tuesday of the months between September to May inclusive.
